Using Flashback Data Archive

This tutorial shows you how to create, monitor and maintain a flashback data archive which tracks and stores all transactional changes to rows in a table. You will create some "wrong transactions" and then recover the original row by using UPDATE commands.

Flashback Data Archive provides the ability to automatically track and store all transactional changes to a record for the duration of its lifetime. This feature also provides seamless access to historical data with "as of" queries. It provides flashback functionality for longer time periods than your undo data. You can use Flashback Data Archive for compliance reporting

Jobba som data analyst eller utvecklare?

Vad tror ni är ett mer långsiktigt jobb - data analyst eller utvecklare? Verkar finnas gott om jobb inom båda yrken, men rent spontant så känns det skönare att jobba som data analyst för det känns inte lika stressigt och inte lika jobbigt vad gäller arbetsuppgifter. Jag kan också ha helt fel, hade varit intressant att höra lite tankar från någon som jobbat med båda.

Kollade även upp meddellönen för båda yrken och de verkar ligga väldigt jämnt? Trodde själv en utvecklare tjänade mer. Vägen till att bli utvecklare skulle jag säga är mycket svårare och tar längre tid än att bli data analytiker. Många kommer långt med ett par kurser inom machine learning/AI/data science + några certifikationer för att bli data analyst och man behöver knappast ha en teknisk bakgrund så förstår inte riktigt hur lönerna är så lika.

Jag pluggar en 5 årig utbildning inom IT, så går inte i tankarna att rikta in mig på det ena eller andra utan jag kommer ha möjlighet att jobba med båda.

Flashback uppgifter Archive (FDA), also known as Flashback Archive (FBA), Flashback Time Travel or Oracle Total Recall, was introduced in Oracle 11g to provide long begrepp storage of undo uppgifter, allowing undo-based flashback operations to be performed over an extended period of time. Oracle database 12c includes a number of changes that will allow FDA to reach a wider audience.

Licensing Changes (All Database Versions for Free)
